These leaves can then be sold in the market at a favorable price. Additionally, within a span of 3 years, farmers can begin to generate a steady income from the trees they have planted. Plant a tree – Tendu: About the Project Once the saplings are distributed to the farmers, they will also receive comprehensive technical knowledge on cultivating them. The project, which is long-term in nature, ensures continuous support for the farmers over a period of 3 years. Additionally, the farmers will have the opportunity to join a group where they will be encouraged to grow the trees, with detailed explanations of the benefits they can expect. Furthermore, these trees will be included as part of a set given to the farmers, aiming to enhance their economic status. Technology The trees in the project are geotagged, allowing precise location tracking. In addition, the area boundary is marked using GPS technology, ensuring accurate demarcation. Moreover, farmer details, including images, are recorded and stored through mobile apps directly from the field. Additionally, the process of carbon fixing, which occurs annually, is calculated using specialized equations developed by experts, which are integrated into the app and reports. Throughout the entire process, total transparency is maintained, from data collection to storage and analysis. Impact assessment The team actively measures the impact it creates for both wildlife and farmers. Additionally, all relevant data is captured at regular intervals, allowing for comprehensive analysis. Furthermore, the collected data is compared with previous data on the same parameters, which were calculated a few months ago. This comparison enables a thorough assessment of the change that has occurred, which is then measured against the planned results. Reports The project reports are prepared and sent to the contributors. The report covers the following 1) Trees status as of the last visit made 2) Any mortality in the trees planted 3) Carbon fixed in MT from the start of the project 4) Economic impact on the farmers. 5) Ecological impact created.
