Due to it’s 9mm thickness and PU Foam structure, this underlay offers great cushioning for beneath your carpets, increasing underfoot comfort. Chromium also has good thermal insulation, with a TOG rating of 2.26. This will essentially make the room it is laid in that bit warmer, stopping coldness rising from the subfloor and potentially even saving you money on energy bills! This PU Foam carpet underlay also features successful sound insulation, with 42db reduction! Tredaire Chromium also boasts a fantastic 180kg density, which makes it a premium high density underlay perfect for use on heavy contract installations.
