Due to it’s 9mm thickness and PU Foam structure, this underlay offers good cushioning for beneath your carpets, increasing underfoot comfort. Softwalk also has good thermal insulation, with a TOG rating of 2.69 This will essentially make the room it is laid in that bit warmer, stopping coldness rising from the subfloor. This PU Foam carpet underlay also features successful sound insulation, with 41dB reduction.
